As a beautiful weekend dawns in Jackson Hole, we're anxious to get up and running here at Lewis & Clark. The bureau of reclamation just released its flow prediction information and it looks like they will peak their releases from Jackson Lake Dam on June 8. This by no means indicates that our peak flows in the Snake River Canyon will be June 8, but we figure they will be somewhere around that date. Last year taught us that a cold spring can really delay peak flows, pushing them deep into June.
We'll be opening up around May 22 and ready to go.
